I don’t want my doodle shaved, how do I avoid this?
Oodle breeds are mixed with Poodles. Because of this Oodles can inherit a wide range of coat types which creates a guessing game about what kind of coat your dog will have and how much grooming your dog will need.
To keep your dog comfortable and healthy, we will recommend how frequently your dog needs to be groomed. The goal is always to groom before mats form. We recommend:
Will my dog be in a crate or kennel?
There are no kennels on board, this is a 1 on 1 service.
Can you groom my dog while I'm at work, away or what if I need to leave early
Yes and we can help! We strive to build a relationship with you and your pet. We have many clients where we retrieve the pet, groom the pet, take the pet potty and return the pet inside home or crate.
Do you express anal glands?
We only perform external anal gland expression.
We follow a simple rule of thumb: anything on the outside of the body is handled by a groomer; anything inside the body anything outside the body is your veterinarian.
How often does my dog need to be groomed?
Depends on length, coat texture & how fast their nails grow.
What does the term shaving “Sanitary & Pads" mean ?
Sanitary: rectum, private parts & hidden areas in those sections of the dog are shaved out leaving a clean non-collection area.
Pads: In between the toes/pads hair grows which can bring in mess to the home. This area is removed to help prevent outside elements sticking to paws and being tracked inside your house. It also helps your dog pads/paws grip the floor for improved traction & grip.
Why is mobile more expensive?
A full salon is brought to your driveway, you are paying for the convenience of this 1 on 1 service. We do however break out the mobile convenience fee separately so you can see the cost breakdown.
Do I get a multi-pet discount?
Mobile is typically billed by the hour. While we try to be cautious of this and offer you the combined savings because we are there it still takes time to groom your pet. You will however be charged 1 mobile convenience fee. Splitting your pets up on different days actually costs you more.
